Waltson crisps are baked in a traditional and artisan way, just like the first crisps back in the fifties.
At present, we return to this artisan baking method, optimised by modern techniques.
We aim for perfectly golden-brown potato slices which maintain every single part of their unique and fabulous taste.

Our secret

For the production of Waltson crisps we exclusively use crisp potatoes that have been carefully selected. These hand-cooked crisps are baked in small batches in high quality sunflower oil. Each time crisps are added, the temperature of the oil drops. Therefore the crisps have a longer baking period, adding extra taste and crunch. After the baking process, they are seasoned without the addition of colour and flavour enhancers. Finally, they are being wrapped in a protective atmosphere. This all happens under the careful supervision of our baking master. All of our chips are allergen free, gluten free, vegan, kosher and halal.
